“Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,
Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve . . . ”
The words of the hymn that I heard so often in childhood are replaying in my mind like a broken record this morning. What a lovely thought to start the day — sowing seeds of kindness.
In gratitude . . .
for those who don’t judge what they haven’t experienced;
for those who understand and respect that everyone’s story is different;
for those who respect confidentiality;
for those who know how to listen without trying to fix it or give advice;
for those who can simply be there with a compassionate heart;
for those whose very presence brings comfort.
-Caregivers in Faith
Imagine if everyone on the planet were focused on helping each other become the best they could be — heal, learn, grow, reach their full potential.
